Customer Spotlight: Mike Power’s Garage with Custom Exterior
We always love receiving videos and photos of our customers’ structures.* When Mike Power of New Jersey sent us images of his Future Buildings steel garage with a beautifully customized exterior, we just had to learn more about his unique building project.
Below, Mike answers a few short questions about his garage and his experience working with Future Buildings.
Why did you decide to add a prefabricated steel garage to your property?
I collect antique cars and needed a place to store them.
Why did you decide to work with us here at Future Buildings?
I researched vendors and really liked the way the buildings look on your website.
What can tell us about your Future Buildings garage?
It is 25×32. In terms of customizing the exterior, I wanted it to look like it belonged on the property so I painted it green and did the front to resemble barn doors.
Can you tell us a little bit about the do-it-yourself installation process?
The building was easy to erect. I did not run into any installation problems at all. Sometimes I worked on it by myself and other times I had four or five guys helping me. Nobody was a contractor. It was just a bunch of my friends.
From start to finish, it took a few weeks to complete. No problems came up. No special tools used. It was real easy to install.
Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience working with Future Buildings?
I dealt with Kyle in purchasing a building that was in stock and right for my specifications, needs, and location. I was able to get free delivery to New Jersey, and everything was delivered in a timely fashion. No complaints!
